Dr. Don LaFont from Jackson, Tennessee has been going to Haiti and serving the people of Haiti since 1982. He has led a Medical Mission team to Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in the mountains of Western
Haiti. This Parish consists of 40,000 very poor people.
Our "RUN FOR HAITI" goal is to raise tax deductible funds for all the programs the Medical Mission Team has been supporting all these years. Our 5k RUN/WALK registration fees as well as any donations received will go directly to benefit the yearly Medical Mission Trips and Teams, and, sponsor children. 100% of the monies received
directly benefits the Haitian People in western Haiti.
The Second Annual "RUN FOR HAITI" race will take place on April 14th, 2012 at Union University in Jackson. Pre-registration using the above form may be mailed to Family Care Walk In Clinic at 176 W University Pkwy, Ste C, Jackson, TN 38305. Pre-registration will guarantee a "RUN FOR HAITI" t-shirt in your size. Pre-registration must be
received 7 days before the event.The 5k RUN/WALK will begin at 8:00 am by the soccer fields on the University entrance off Country Club Lane. Race day registration is available starting at 7:00 am in the parking lot by the Pool House on Union University. The fee for the RUN/WALK will be $25 for either early or race day registration. Please make any checks payable to Haitian Medical Mission. Should you need to pay by credit card, fax the completed registration form to 731-668-4557 and you will receive a call back.
